Organising & promoting cultural heritage of Communities in Newham
Started by back in 1986, Newham African and Caribbean Network is growing into an impactful Community Movement. We organise and promote the cultural heritage of African and Caribbean communities living in Newham and east London. With an emphasis on political and civil society participation.
We are an inclusive network that is constantly growing adaptively to the changes of society, and invite you to learn more about how you can help us make an impact.
The Newham African Caribbean Resource Centre is in Plaistow. The centre has a sizeable hall which is available for hire. Along with offices, a crèche, meeting & activity rooms, the centre represents an active centre.
The community centre serves as the hub for the local community (not only African and Caribbean) in Newham; it allows a cost effective location for community activities to take place.
